Shajuan Alexander, LCSW-S, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Trauma-informed clinician, and Founder of The Culture of Health PLLC. She specializes in psychosocial immigration evaluations and culturally responsive mental health care, bringing clarity and intention to clients navigating complex legal and emotional landscapes throughout their lives.

Her expertise includes Asylum, VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, and Extreme Hardship cases, where she blends clinical depth with trauma-informed, culturally grounded assessments and advocacy. She is recognized for creating evaluation spaces that honor lived experiences while meeting the legal, ethical, and documentation standards required in immigration proceedings. Shajuan partners closely with attorneys and multidisciplinary teams, offering evaluation narratives that bridge clinical insight with immigration policy demands. Her work is rooted in ethical practice, maintaining objectivity, neutrality, working within the Clinical scope, and avoiding dual roles, while elevating the dignity of each client’s story.

Through The Culture of Health, she also teaches social workers how to approach immigration evaluations with confidence, cultural awareness, and integrity. Her mission is to expand access to thoughtful, high-quality assessments that support healing, advocacy, and social justice.

Completion Requirements

To receive CE credit, learners must:

  • Complete the full audio course
  • Achieve a minimum score of 70% on the posttest. You may take the posttest up to three times.
  • Complete the course evaluation form

Certificate Issuance

Certificates are available to be downloaded from the learning platform immediately upon successful completion of both the posttest and the course evaluation.
